Antonio Citterio: Architecture and Design

The first and most comprehensive publication to encompass the achievements of one of Italy’s foremost contemporary artists both in design and in architecture.

Antonio Citterio has earned a reputation for his design and craftsmanship. While he is mostly recognized the world over for his work in product and interior design, in the last two decades he has also expanded into the architectural sphere with accomplishments in the public and private.

His ability in controlling all the scales of the project has recognized worldwide as a characteristic of the Made in Italy excellence. His work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Architecture and Design Museum of Chicago.

Alba Cappellieri is Associate Professor of  History of Architecture and Design at the Faculty of Design at the Polytechnic of Milan. She writes for some of the foremost journals in the field including Domus, Abitare, The Journal of Architecture and AR2.
