In the preface to this book, Curtis Fentress describes his 'mission' as 'figuring out what it means in any given situation to make people feel at home with a structure and then to make that feeling material. 'While no consistent look is imposed in Fentress Bradburn's work, the diverse range of projects examined in this publication are nevertheless highly functional and imaginative buildings which also sit comfortably within their individual context.
