Making History features milestones in the discovery, recording, interpretation, and communication of Britain’s past.

It includes antiquities of international importance, detailed records of lost buildings and objects, paintings of ancient sites and landscapes by Turner Blake and other great artists commissioned by the Society and its Fellows, royal portraits from Henry VI to Mary Tudor, and rare historical manuscripts.
