Mitchell/Giurgola Architects "The Master Architect Series II"

In the 10-year period from 1986 to 1996, Mitchell/Giurgola Architects produced a significant body of work for a wide variety of public, institutional, academic, and corporate clients. This volume traces the transition of design leadership and the evolution of the firm since 1985 when founders Ehrman B. Mitchell retired and Romaldo Giurgola moved to Australia. Since then the firm has continued its commitment to building design, derived from the tangible objectives of program and the responsiveness to site, as well as the intangible influences of place, history, social conditions and culture.
