Цвет является одним из важнейших выразительных средств архитектуры – он создает настроение и оказывает воздействие на наше восприятие. Однако он способен воздействовать не только на эмоциональном, но и на рациональном уровне: заложенные в здании цветовые коды могут апеллировать к культурной памяти или актуальным модным тенденциям, нести в себе не только явные или завуалированные смысловые послания, но и мгновенно считываемую невербальную информацию. Цветовое решение почти всегда субъективно (и как бы необязательно) – для него не существует утвержденных стандартов или предписаний, оно не заложено в функциональной программе здания. Однако именно цвет зачастую придает проекту неповторимость и законченность, благодаря ему даже ординарную по форме постройку можно превратить в произведение искусства. Работая с цветом, архитектор проявляется как художник. И в его распоряжении сегодня огромная палитра красок и материалов – от традиционных до самых современных. Полихромность в архитектуре уходит корнями в древность и имеет такую же долгую историю, как сама архитектура. Однако эта линия развития никогда не была непрерывной. И если в интерьерах цвет на протяжении многих эпох присутствовал неизменно, то во внешнем облике, на фасадах зданий, он то появлялся, то исчезал – иногда очень надолго. Такие перепады, с периодами полного изгнания цвета, можно наблюдать и в недавнем прошлом – в истории архитектуры ХХ века они случались неоднократно. Чтобы убедиться в этом, достаточно бросить взгляд из окна или посмотреть вокруг. Окружающая нас городская среда и есть эта история. Преимущественно монохромная. Тому, как за счет цвета можно нарушить эту монотонность, – созданию притягивающих взгляд, узнаваемых и запоминающихся архитектурных акцентов и градостроительных доминант, многообразию возможностей в использовании цвета в современной архитектуре и посвящен этот номер SPEECH:Наряду с рассмотрением основных современных тенденций, в журнале по традиции анализируется исторический опыт обращения с цветом как в русском, так и в западно-европейском зодчестве, а на примере опыта Голландии и Испании показываются возможности создания за счет цвета эстетически и эмоционально продуманной, комфортабельной городской среды.

In ancient Greece, the term stadium was defined as a footrace over a distance 192 m. This distance measurement was then later used as a description for the competition facility. Nowadays a stadium is considered a total competitive sporting complex with field, oval-shaping running track, shot put, javelin and broad jump facilities as well as viewer seats and press boxes. Nowadays, stadia are not only simply sporting sites, but also act as tourist attractions, distinguishing features and gathering place for clubs. This tendency has led to increased value being placed upon architecture in stadium design. Additional uses for covered stadia may include stores, offices, hotels and restaurants. In the following, various solutions of modern stadia design are presented. In so doing, examples of various use types and sizes will be addressed.

This volume comprises a complete study of stairs, from technical specifications to project realisation.
