Laurent Durieux is a famous Belgian illustrator who is well-known by pop culture fans and collectors for his cult movie poster reinterpretations.

Laurent Durieux was born in 1970 in Belgium. He’s spent two decades as a designer and teacher, and then the 49-year-old Brussels illustrator and graphic artist became a star in the US thanks to a number of high-profile awards and marquee commissions, including a 2013 screenprint of Jaws, which caught the eye of the film’s director, Steven Spielberg. Durieux was named one of the world’s 200 Best Illustrators by the influential international advertising magazine Lu¨rzer’s Archive in 2011. L'imagination au pouvoir was a slogan devised by artist Pierre Aléchinsky during the May 1968 student riots in Paris. Sushio's high level of drawing skill attracted attention within the anime industry and he went on to work on titles such as Gunbuster 2, Guren Lagann, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and several One Piece movies.
