The book collects 29 fashion and art forward hotels in 14 countries throughout the world, which are designed by world famous fashion designers or artists, including these glorious names: George Armani, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, Rosita Missoni, Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta, Frank Moschino, Martin Margiela, John Olsen, Christina Zeidler, etc.

The hotel projects in the book are distinctive and full of visual impact, showcasing the design essence of crossover design hotel. The design director of dwp(design worldwide partnership) Scott Whittaker and the famous designer in American Institute of Architects (AIA), Michael Suomi contribute to combing the system and substantiating the content for this kind of design. Isabelle Palmer is the founder of The Balcony Gardener (www.thebalconygardener.com), an online company specializing in product ranges for small urban outdoor spaces — balconies, patios, containers, and roof terraces. Isabelle’s work has recently been featured in the Evening Standard and Marie Claire. She grew up in Worcestershire, then moved to London to study at Chelsea College of Art and Design, embarking on a degree in Economics before working in PR. She has always been a keen gardener and began by using her own small balconies to create a little green oasis of her own. Confident that others would want to do the same, she started her successful business The Balcony Gardener. The author is based in London, UK.
