Founded in 2006 in Stockholm by Ben Gorham — a former basketball player turned self-taught perfumer — Byredo is one of today’s most popular global brands known for its fragrances, makeup, home goods, and accessories. Ben Gorham was born in Sweden in 1977 and grew up in Stockholm, Toronto, and New York. He founded Byredo in 2006, setting up offices in Paris and Stockholm. He lives in Stockholm with his wife and children. Grace Johnston is a UK-born, Paris-based writer, editor, and curator.
