Showcases the best of contemporary Indian interiors - homes, bars, restaurants, hotels, resorts, spas, shops. Features stunning, previously unpublished photographs by Michael Freeman.
This book reveals the latest in Indian style, from the first boutique hotel in Delhi, The Manor, designed by the architects Shirley Fujikawa and Vinay Kapoor, to the restored fortress, and now hotel, of Devigarh, where each room is designed around a particular theme. Today, Indian design is a fascinating mixture of local styles and modern interpretations. Divided into four chapters - Breaking with Tradition, Reworking the Legacy, Courtyard and Tent, and Retreats - Modern Indian Interiors reveals the changing face of Indian interior design, and the innovative ideas being introduced by not only Indians but also foreign architects and designers who have moved to India.
With over 250 unpublished colour photographs by the renowned photographer Michael Freeman, this book will show the modern side of India that has not been seen before.
"Interior Design in French Classic Style” presents sixty classic interiors, ranging from hôtels particuliers and châteaux to renowned restaurants that date back to the 18th century! Whether private or public, these places attract the eye to every detail, every material, proving how great classicism can be the source of joyous admiration and refined pleasure. These prestigious addresses that once hosted kings and queens, these timeless spaces that extend their welcome, show how well thought out decoration and fabrics chosen with taste can cross the centuries, and thus offer a beautiful future to new versions of the classic style! Each place is presented with a text exploring the history and design, and the visit continues through magnificent images, rich in colour and elegant patterns and forms, to captivate the reader time after time.

In a Land Not So Far Away. Arabian Nights in contemporary Morocco
From fragrant, labyrinthine souks and delectable cuisine to breathtaking landscapes and welcoming people: Morocco might be a stone’s throw from Spain, but it continues to inspire visions of an exotic haven. This edition brings together an eclectic selection of homes to showcase the best of Moroccan wonders, complete with exclusive, never-before-seen photographs.
Though it lies just across the Mediterranean from Europe, barely a stone’s throw from Spain’s southernmost tip, Morocco couldn’t possibly be farther away.
With its mountainous and desert landscapes, labyrinthine souks, delectable cuisine, exquisite rugs and textiles, vibrant mosaics, fragrant odors, mesmerizing music, and welcoming people, Morocco is a most alluring and tantalizingly exotic destination. Digging a little deeper into the myth of Morocco, Barbara and René Stoeltie bring us this eclectic selection of homes to demonstrate all that is most wonderful about the Moroccan style: from tiled, turquoise swimming pools and lavish gardens to carved wooden furniture and jade-colored marble fountains.
With more than 500 pages featuring brand new, unpublished photographs, flipping through these fairy tale–like visions of exotic havens (ideally while sipping a steaming cup of sweet, fragrant mint tea) will instantly whisk you away.

Bookworm’s delight — never bore, always excite!
An astonishing collection of super glamorous interiors with a sumptuous style that draw on art deco for inspiration
What does a contemporary Art Deco interior look like to you? Is it glittering and cabaret-like, featuring marabou trims, sequin scales, and striking chevron stripes? Or is it elegance personified in the manner of a Marlene Dietrich trouser suit — soft and well-tailored, but accessorised dramatique?
Through jewel-like furnishings that light up the room, ornate mirrors as beautiful as brooches, simple Japanese-style lighting, and bold, curvaceous furniture shapes, join design journalist Claire Bingham as she tours the most sumptuous, modern-day Deco interiors — at home, on holiday, in restaurants and bars. Spanning ritzy venues to sublimely-styled houses, Living in Style The New Art Deco is all about 21st century Deco-inspired interiors — vivid, glamorous, polished, and self-assured.
With chapters focusing on all facets of the Art Deco look, including designers, design details, paint palettes, and Art Deco accessories, this gorgeous interiors book opens the door to exclusive, charismatic, contemporary Deco spaces and offers abundant Art Deco design ideas and inspiration for beginners and experts alike. Vintage photographs contextualize the featured interiors, showcasing the icons of Art Deco that have immortalized the era and style. From 1920s and 1930s trendsetters swathed in silks and furs to swanky Dimore Studio-designed salons, this book celebrates the enduring appeal of a halcyon design age as modern and desirable as it is elaborate and luxurious.
CLAIRE BINGHAM is an interiors journalist who writes about design, travel, and style for several publications worldwide. Before becoming an author, including the teNeues books Modern Living and A Beautiful Mess, she was the Homes Editor for Elle Decoration U.K. and her insightful work has been featured in international glossies, including Vogue Living and Architectural Digest. Scouring the globe for inspiring interiors and discovering the talents behind the scenes, she ultimately writes about homes full of character — be it modern-day glamour or old world, disheveled charm.
Includes private homes as well as chic hotels, stylish restaurants, and trendy bars
