For over forty years, Jan Jansen has been designing and selling shoes. His designs include the clog of 1969, the bamboo shoe of 1973 and the floating wedge of 1989. Industrial designer Jane Worthington (1969, UK) graduated from the highly acclaimed De Monfort University in 1990 and immediately moved to Holland to join Philips Design where she remained until 1995. During that period, she worked with Alexandro Mendini at his studio in Milan on important design projects such as Television at the Crossroads and the Cafe for the Domotechnica Fair for the Philips-Alessi line.
