About the Author:
Luz Camino is the first female master jeweler in Spain. She has spent the past fifty years mastering contemporary and antique jewelry techniques, developing an expansive collection of unique pieces with a wide range of inspirations and typologies. Her work is in the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. Clare Phillips is the Elisabeth Gage Curator of Jewellery from the Department of Decorative Art and Sculpture at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Carolina Herrera is an American fashion designer who launched her eponymous label in 1981. Her awards include the 2004 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award and their Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

Noma Bar is an acclaimed illustrator whose work has appeared in many media outlets, including Time Out London, the BBC, the New York Times, the Observer, The Economist and Wallpaper*.
Michael Bierut’s career spans every genre of graphic design, from books and posters to packaging and signage, for a broad range of clients. He has won hundreds of design awards and his work is represented in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Bierut is both a senior critic at Yale’s School of Art and a fellow of its School of Management.

About the Author:
After studying in Germany and London, Biyan Wanaatmadja began to produce his own designs in a small atelier in Surabaya, Indonesia, and has been based in Jakarta since 1986. His first clothing line, BIYAN for women, began in 1984, followed by the diffusion line STUDIO 133 BIYAN in 1985 and BIYAN Bride in 2005. Natasha Fraser-Cavassoni is the author of Sam Spiegel, Tino Zervudachi: A Portfolio, and Dior Glamour. Marc Ascoli is the art director responsible for the image branding of Jil Sander, Yohji Yamamoto, and Chloé, among others.

Emily was born in Vermont, raised in Kentucky, and educated at the University of Kentucky, where she received a BFA in painting. Emily went on to get her MFA in painting and her MAAE with K–12 licensure at the University of Cincinnati. She carves her blocks and prints her work full time in Erlanger, Kentucky.
