The afterlife — a place that fills our hearts and minds with wonder as well as dread. What is in store for us there? Will there be suffering or redemption for our souls, or both? Who or what holds the power in the afterlife? And is there no escape?

Heaven’s Hell: The Art of Anthony Jones unveils one artist’s exploration of this shadowy realm and the beautiful and haunting beings battling over it. Meet the sultry and fearless sisters of Haliled, the scheming Crimson and Sapphire Sages, and the mighty brothers of Jisais — all of whom don the most sensual, imaginative attire — drawn and painted in striking detail that will captivate curious minds. Jones’s artwork is undeniably provocative and unsettling simultaneously — this effect is ultimately his intention — for the afterlife holds as much mystery as it does terror: it is both heaven and hell.

About the Author:

Anthony Jones has worked as an artist in the entertainment industry since 2008. He has worked for several notable companies over his career, including Sony, Blizzard Entertainment, Paramount, Western Costumes, Applibot, Wizards of the Coast, and Hasbro. But he is most proud of his role as a teacher, helping aspiring artists finesse their skills, as well as providing them a venue where they can showcase their work, through his company, Robotpencil.

A sequel to the extremely popular I Adulted: Stickers for Grown-Ups, I Adulted at Work! is a whimsically illustrated book containing 250 removable stickers that congratulate supposed grown-ups on a job well done . . . or at least a job done.

Despite official reports, most adults feel completely and totally ill-prepared to deal. With anything. They still, as purportedly self-sufficient grown-ups, look toward older generations and think, "How did they do that?" So the easiest and best way to find comfort is to look not ahead at uncertainty (or, heaven forbid, around at the chaos currently surrounding them), but to the past to their simpler childhoods. And it is with brightly colored stickers in the workplace that they will finally find peace of mind. For a little while, at least.
Filled with 250 full-color removable stickers that can be used to decorate journals, notebooks, or your lapel to proudly and publicly proclaim work life's little victories, I Adulted at Work! is the ideal nostalgic and practical book for anyone who feels a sense of accomplishment by making it through a day on the job without calling their mother for help.

About the Author:

Robb Pearlman is an editor, author, and pop culture junkie. He is the author of more than thirty books for adults and kids, including I Adulted! What Would Skeletor Do?, and The Wit and Wisdom of Star Trek.

Idealistic visions of the Soviet capital that were never realised.

Published at the centenary of the Russian Revolution, Imagine Moscow: Architecture, Propaganda, Revolution portrays Moscow as it was envisioned by a bold generation of architects in the 1920s and early 1930s. Through evocative imagery and a wealth of rarely seen material, this book provides a window into an idealistic fantasy of the Soviet capital that was never realised and has since been largely forgotten.

Focusing on six unbuilt architectural landmarks, Imagine Moscow explores how these projects reflected changes in everyday life and society following the revolution, during one of the most fascinating periods of the twentieth century. Large-scale architectural plans, models and drawings are placed alongside propaganda posters, textiles and porcelain, contextualising the transformation of a city reborn as the new capital of the USSR and the international centre of socialism.

A fascinating panorama of the faces of Jesus today

Jesus Now presents, for the first time, a showcase of the figure of Christ in contemporary art, graphic design, advertising, and pop culture. Featuring the work of more than 80 artists from around the world, including Cindy Sherman, David LaChapelle, Kehinde Wiley, Pierre et Gilles, Nina Chanel, Mark Ryden, and Alex Grey, Jesus Now shows how the Christ figure continues to inspire the artists of today.
In trendy galleries, on the walls of major cities, as a superhero or manga character, in Hollywood blockbusters or in satirical TV cartoons, Jesus is not only a guide for believers but also has become, as this book reveals, an icon of modern pop culture.
This art anthology also showcases how today's artists have developed new iconographies that break with the image of the White Messiah to favor depicting Jesus in a more historically accurate way or in ways more reflective of themselves: Black Jesus, Maori Jesus, Native American Jesus.
