Laurent Durieux is a famous Belgian illustrator who is well-known by pop culture fans and collectors for his cult movie poster reinterpretations.

Laurent Durieux was born in 1970 in Belgium. He’s spent two decades as a designer and teacher, and then the 49-year-old Brussels illustrator and graphic artist became a star in the US thanks to a number of high-profile awards and marquee commissions, including a 2013 screenprint of Jaws, which caught the eye of the film’s director, Steven Spielberg. Durieux was named one of the world’s 200 Best Illustrators by the influential international advertising magazine Lu¨rzer’s Archive in 2011. L'imagination au pouvoir was a slogan devised by artist Pierre Aléchinsky during the May 1968 student riots in Paris. The particular appeal of political posters for avant-garde artists comes from their dual inspiration of utopian ideals and Jive history. The postwar period, when Picasso's unassuming dove image was commandeered by the Communist peace movement, was succeeded by the general willful resistance of the younger generation in the 1960s. In 1968, many supported the students' demands and produced political posters. Terryl Whitlatch is an accomplished, scientifically and academically trained illustrator who extensively studied vertebrate zoology and animal anatomy. Sushio is a Japanese animator and illustrator. He started his career as an animator at studio Gainax, producers of the world-famous TV animation series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Sushio's high level of drawing skill attracted attention within the anime industry and he went on to work on titles such as Gunbuster 2, Guren Lagann, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and several One Piece movies. In 2011, he joined animation director Hiroyuki Imanishi's company Studio Trigger. Studio Trigger's first original TV animation Kill La Kill was released in 2013 with Sushio as the main character designer.
